On Sunday, Nov. 10, the Nippersink Library Board of Trustees will host an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. in celebration of the library’s 40 years of service to the Richmond and Spring Grove communities.
Join the fun at 1 p.m. as Storyteller Jim May shares Nippersink Tales, stories of life growing up in the community. May is a nationally known storyteller and a native of Spring Grove.
His stories have taken him across the United States and Europe, including appearances on several Chicago radio stations. His stories are sure to entertain both adults and children.
A variety of events have been scheduled throughout the month of November to celebrate Nippersink Library’s 40th anniversary. For more information on programs and events, call the library at (815) 678-4014 or check out the library’s website at www.nippersinklibrary.org.
