Kenosha County Executive Jim Kreuser announced that KD Park, 8530 352nd Avenue, will now be open seven days a week. The park had previously been closed for the winter.

The park will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The public is encouraged to explore the park. Suggested park activities include hiking and leashed dog-walking (the Warren Close Bark Park, an off-leash dog park is also offered nearby). And when the snow flies, try snowshoeing and cross country skiing, when conditions are right.

For safety purposes, specific lake use restrictions and guidelines are being developed and will be posted at the park within the next few weeks.
